MUSICAL HIGHLIGHTS TO RUND OFF THE YEAR

A varied concert programme featuring special musical encounters and festive sounds awaits me in November and December. Through solo performances and exciting chamber music projects, my harp and I will accompany the audience through the atmospheric run-up to Christmas right until the end of the year.

A particular highlight in November is the performance of A Ceremony of Carols on 29 November in Frankfurt, together with the Cantilena Women’s Chamber Choir. The combination of harp music and choral singing promises to be a memorable musical start to the Advent season.

In December, the focus will initially be on the harp itself: At a solo concert in Kleinweilheim, I will have the pleasure of presenting, amongst other pieces, excerpts from Gliere’s harp concerto. The end-of-year concert at the Admiralspalast in Berlin with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt is also one of the special highlights marking the close of the concert season.

An extraordinary chamber music experience awaits the audience on 20 December in Frankfurt. Together with tuba player Daniel Ridder, Natascha Ziegler will present a concert for tuba and harp. The unusual combination of these two instruments opens up fascinating worlds of sound and demonstrates just how versatile and surprising chamber music encounters can be.

The year draws to a close on a musical note with these diverse concert experiences – from contemplative Advent melodies to solo harp music and extraordinary instrumental duets.
